Dr Salehi is a board certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist practicing for the past 3 years. Born and raised in Calabasas, in the heart of the San Fernando Valley and attended college at the University of Southern California. In between college and medical school, she worked as a special education tutor for the Las Virgenes School district where her desire to become a physician was reaffirmed as it was a childhood dream of hers to become a physician. She attended medical school at St George’s University, completed internship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and residency training was done at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. After training, Dr Salehi choose to come back to her roots in the Southern California area and is extremely honored to be serving patients where she grew up. She chose Obstetrics & Gynecology because it is a specialty that stimulates her, provides a great combination of surgical and primary care training, and most importantly allows the opportunity to bring life into this world every single day. Knowing the tasks and challenges that lie ahead when she walks into the hospital or office motivates her to get up each and every day. All of these characteristics make this specialty the perfect fit and the driving force to continue for the rest of her life! She is a true “Valley girl” at heart. She enjoys spending her free time with my family and close friends. When she is not busy delivering babies, she likes going on hikes, long walks with her puppy, and having brunch with a view of the Pacific Ocean.”
